Our Beliefs

We are called Apostolics because we believe in following the apostles doctrine. When God came to earth as a man he left his plan of salvation with his apostles.

The Bible teaches us that there is only one God (Duet.6:4). He is the creator of the heavens and the earth and all living creators. God revealed himself to humanity throughout time as: The Father (creator), the Son (Savior) and as the Holy Ghost (Spirit of God). As the Father, He is the creator of all things. He is the first and the last, and beside him them there is no God. (Isaiah 44:6) Jesus was God manifested in the flesh (1 Tim. 3:16). Jesus himself, testified of his identity when He said, “He that hath seen me hath seen the Father” (John 14:7-11) and “ I and my Father are one” (John 10:30.God was a spirit, and because it took the shedding of blood for the remission of the world's sins (Hebrew 9:22) God prepared a body of flesh and blood (Hebrews 10:5) and came to earth in the form of man to save humanity.

We believe that every man is born a sinner since the fall of Adam and Eve (Romans 3:23) and that the wages of sin is death. (Romans 6:23: Rev. 20:14). This will be the penalty of those who refuse to accept salvation as set forth in the Word of God. The plan of salvation consist of 3 steps: Repentance of your sins, water baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Chris for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost by the evidence of speaking in other tongues as God gives the utterance.(Acts 2:38). After we receive the Holy Ghost we are commanded to go and sin no more (John 8:11). We are to live soberly, righteously, and Godly in the present world (Titus 2:12). We are warned that without holiness no one shall see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14). No one can live a holy life by his own power but only through the help of the Holy Ghost. Acts 1:8 states, “ Ye shall receive power, after the Holy Ghost is come upon you”.

OUR WORSHIP

WHY DO WE STAND TO SING?

And the Levites, of the children of the Korhites...stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel with a loud voice on high. (II Chronicles 20:19)

After this I beheld, and lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. (Revelation 7:9,10)

WHY DO WE LIFT OUR HANDS?

Thus will I bless thee while I live:I will lift up my hands in thy name.(Psalm 63:4)Lift up your hands in the sanctuary,
and bless the Lord. (Psalm 134:2)I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath
and doubting. ( 1 Timothy 2:8)

WHY DO WE CLAP OUR HANDS?

O CLAP your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph. (Psalm 47:1)

WHY DO WE DANCE BEFORE THE LORD?

Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp. (Psalm 149:3)

Praise him with the timbrel and dance:...(Psalm 150:4)

And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances. (Exodus 15:20)
And as the ark of the Lord came into the city of David, Michal Saul’s daughter looked through a window, and saw King David leaping and dancing before the Lord; and she despised him in her heart. (II Samuel 6:16)

WHY DO WE HAVE THIS TYPE OF WORSHIP?

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth;for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
(John 4:23,24)

I am part of the "Fellowship of the Unashamed."

The die has been cast. I have stepped over the line.

The decision has been made. I am a disciple of

Jesus Christ. I won't look back, let up, slow down,

back away, or be still. My past is redeemed, my present

makes sense, and my future is secure.

I am finished and done with low living, sight walking,

small planning, smooth knees, colorless dreams,

chintzy giving, and dwarfed goals.

I no longer need pre-eminence, prosperity, position,

promotions, plaudits, or popularity. I now live by

presence, lean by faith, love by patience,

lift by prayer, and labor by power. My pace

is set, my gait is fast, my goal is Heaven, my

road is narrow, my way is rough, my companions few,

my Guide reliable, my mission clear. I cannot be bought,

compromised, deterred, lured away, turned back,

diluted, or delayed.

I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the

presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy,

ponder at the pool of popularity, or meander

in the maze of mediocrity.

I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I must go until

Heaven returns, give until I drop, preach until all know,

and work until He comes. And when He comes to get

His own, He will have no problem recognizing me

My colors will be clear.
