On January 1, 1981 Rev. Ray Hudson and Sis. Joy Hudson put faith into action founding Faith Apostolic Church. With only a fourth grade education and no formal training God equipped Bro. Ray with the knowledge of God's word and his love for God's people was unparalleled.
Bro. Ray had a vision of a thriving church in the Holden community and that vision became a reality. He laid the foundation of our church preaching God's love and the Apostolic experience. (Baptism of the Holy ghost).

With the passing of Bro. Ray the vision stayed alive and the work of God continued as our current pastor and pastor's wife have continued doing the work of the Lord. Bro. Marlin was filled with the Holy Ghost in March of 1986. He was ordained to preach the gospel in June 1987.
In January of 1998 Bro. Marlin was made assistant pastor of Faith Apostolic Church. He was taught under the ministries of his father Gerald Arceneaux and his father-in law pastor Ray Hudson. He became pastor of FAC on January 5, 2003 and he became affiliated with the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ in June of 2003.
